| The Yorkie is a beautiful, non-shedding dog, supporting a generous long, flowing hair coat with a great big attitude. They are very affectionate little dogs whom have very small bones, that break much easier than most toys. I recommend them for older children to adults. Their typical coloring is blue and gold. The blue is a steel blue, often lightening to grey with age. The gold will be a rich tan color as well. Yorkies are not just pretty lap dogs, they love to run, fetch, and play. Life expectancy is around 12-15 years. |

| The "Havanese" are very sociable and happy dogs who are easy to obedience train. Familes with children were made for the Havanese, their extreme need for companionship and closeness are in complete harmony with children's play and cuddle time!!! This makes them good, portable traveling companions as they are quite adaptable. This clever little acrobat was known as the "circus dog" for many years because of its ability to quickly learn and execute tricks. They are very anxious to please, Havanese is a lively, loving breed that ADORES CHILDREN AND ADULTS ALIKE. They are natural compaion dogs: gentle and responsive, with a HIGH degree of intelligence. The Havanese's expression is soft, intelligent and mischievous. Their eyes are dark brown, large, almond-shaped, and set rather widely apart. Ears are of medium length with long hair and hand down. Their hair coat is unique and reflects of living in the tropics. It consists of a double coat that may reach 6-8 " in length and is remarkable soft and light in texture. While it appears dense, the coat is actually a profusion of raw silk-like floss. Their coat may be straight, wavy or even curly, but usually is a result of a mix of one or more textures. The Males average 9-10 inches in Height, and the Females average 8-9 inches. The Males average 9-11 lbs. and the Females average 7-10 lbs. |
